THE MAIDEN & THE GOBLIN // LA DONCELLA & EL GOBLIN

One night I was listening to a particular song and this characters came to me: 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕸𝖆𝖎𝖉𝖊𝖓 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝕲𝖔𝖇𝖑𝖎𝖓.
I drew them as separate ideas, but after looking at them for a while, hanging on the wall, I finally understood that they belonged together and they were both part of a fairy tale that has not been told yet.
I made both drawings with no previous sketches and they were born with a few quick lines I made with micron pens while listening to the song. After that and very calmly I added all the details with a Pentel brush-pen. Finally, I added bright ink on certain parts of the images to make them pop up. I did this to the Maiden’s skirt and to the Goblin’s blood.

Una noche escuchaba una canción y se me ocurrieron estos dos personajes: 𝕷𝖆 𝖉𝖔𝖓𝖈𝖊𝖑𝖑𝖆 𝖞 𝖊𝖑 𝖌𝖔𝖇𝖑𝖎𝖓.
Los dibujé como ideas separadas, pero después de mirarlos por mucho tiempo colgados en la pared, finalmente entendí que debían estar juntos y que ambos hacían parte de un cuento de hadas aún no contado.
Ambos dibujos los hice sin bocetación previa y nacieron de unas cuantas líneas que tracé con rapidógrafos mientras escuchaba dicha canción. Luego de eso, y de forma muy pausada fui agregando todos los detales con un pincel Pentel Fudepen. Finalmente, añadí en ciertas partes de ambas imágenes un refuerzo de tinta brillante para que resaltaran solo esas partes con la luz. En la imagen de la Doncella lo hice en su falda y en la del Goblin lo hice en la sangre.
